i mean most women out there mustve read eat, pray, love by elizabeth gilbert..who wouldnt want 2 do wat she did..travel 4 a year after a divorce n post-relationship rite?..if i can, i would love 2 jump on a plane right now just 2 eat pistachio gelato in the middle of rome..i mean just look at that? credits pic from travelmuse.com.. sedapnya
Anyway i just wanna write a review, the book after eat,pray,love..Committed.. the book where the only solution for them to be together is to get married, which re-surface all da bad marriage experience that Liz and Felipe had been through before this with their previous spouse. All i can say, the book is about marriage in a different perspectives. there are so many quotes, that i agree and there are things that i dont fully in-sync with Liz. but wat i remember when she mention about infatuation "Infatuation is not quite the same thing as love; it's more like love's shady second cousin who's always borrowing money and can't hold down a job."
i mean there must b at least once uve been infatuated with someone kan..whether it end up really bad or nothing happen at all..or u never know if u r lucky u end up marrying dat person. wat i lurve abt elizabeth gilbert sometimes her interpretation of something is so spot-on. n dis is one of it. if u wanna read the unconventional way, wat marriage is from someone who need 2 know the rationale why she have 2 go through all dis all over again after a bad divorce then read dis book with an open mind. i like da book eventhough there r parts in it which i didnt really agree with it. but overall i like it.
but i will leave you with one quote taken from the book "So it will come to pass for all of us - for all couples who stay with each other in love - that someday one of us will carry the shovel and the lantern on behalf of the other. We all share our houses with Time, who ticks along side us as we work at our daily lives, reminding us of our ultimate destination."
